I really hope you enjoyed last week’s reading by some of the poets who have had their books published by Cuttlefish books… if you haven’t listened it’s really worth your while going back to episode 48 of this 7th series and sitting down with your favourite libation to have a listen, or maybe plug us into your earphones and they can keep you company while you go about your day. They are a spectacular bunch of poets and I certainly learned whilst listening to them.
If you have listened you’ll know that I kept back one of the readings, that of Deborah P Kolodji who sadly left us this year. There’s a black hole in the haiku world with her name on it, but at least we have her poetry to lightened our universe a little.
Well this episode is a an homage to Debbie, I’m going to start it with a replay of an episode she recorded back in 2022 on scifiku. It’s one of the most popular episodes in the podcast’s history and poets wrote some cracking speculative poetry as a result of it.
So you know what I thought we’d do a Poetry Pea tribute to Debbie and the first of our submissions next year will be a scifiku poetry edition. Check out the schedule.
