Reminder:
There’s a haibun call out 16-31 May. Shane and I have decided that we will produce a haibun journal in print and in PDF for the first time and it will be called Tendrils. I hope you like the title; Shane chose it.
You might wonder why I produce both print and PDF, well, it’s because the print version cannot be delivered to some areas of the world, but a PDF will get to everyone.
Haibun
In today’s postcard a haibun by Thomas Festa from Poetry Pea Journal 2:23.
This includes two haibun from Hatsuyo Mori, Jacaranda: The Collected Haiku, trans. Carmen Sterba, Ken Saito, and Yasuomi Koganei (Winchester, VA: Red Moon Press, 2004) the last haiku in the piece is the author’s own work.
